Introducing “Jump in the Game”, a 42-second music video short promo that “I” made about our beloved game of Squash, with a hint of an Olympic theme.
FYI, this is how I did it.
- The song itself was auto-generated after I asked Microsoft CoPilot with the Suno plugin to write a song about the exciting, physical, fun game of squash. I thought the song was good, but the image that was auto-generated was a bit naff. So I needed to remove the image and replace it with my own.
- I downloaded the .mp4 file from the above, and imported it into the free version of Shotcut installed on my Windows 11 Pro desktop PC.
- I saved out the .mp3 (audio only) file from Shotcut.
- I uploaded the .mp3 file into the free version of Microsoft’s Clipchamp on my PC
- All the still images were previously auto-generated by ChatGPT and Google’s ImageFX. I was able to upload these images (and the SPA logo) into Clipchamp, add then I added them into the timeline of the song. I added (dragged and drop) some transition effects between the images, and then I was able to export the file to an .mp4 file.
Job done!
I don’t doubt that there are many better ways to achieve the above. It’s just what worked for me, and using all free software.
I’m an experienced technologist and former hands-on programmer/developer, but multimedia manipulation or creativity is NOT my specialist area. But assisted by A.I., lots of things become possible.
